In
January 2007, Microsoft released Windows Vista, the newest upgrade
in several years to replace Windows XP. Right now, new computers
come with Windows Vista installed.
While Vista will may undoubtedly be a good operating system in the
future, to date it has been plagued with a number of bugs and compatibility
issues. If you are contemplating a new computer purchase soon, it
might be a
good idea to wait. It will save you many headaches
you might not foresee, such as your older hardware (printers, etc.)
not working with Vista right now. Microsoft has said a large update
(service pack) to resolve these issue is due, but so far, nothing
has appeared.
